The island of Prvić, which belongs to Šibenik
archipelago, is about half a mile away from land and it makes it one of the islands closest to the
coast. The area of the island totals 2.37 km2 and it is 3.1 km long from Cape St.Luce to Cape
St.Ante.
It was inhabited in the early Middle-Ages and it is believed that its name comes from the old Croatian spring god Prvica or Prvina.

Šepurine is a place situated on the south-west side of the
island. In 1620 a church was built near the shore where you can see a
valuable, wooden altar richly decorated with baroque
ornaments. |
