Vodice, 43? 45” and 15? 47” a settlement with slightly over 5000 inhabitants, a port and an ACI marina north of Šibenik, 13 km by road and 6 nm by sea from Šibenik.
Unlike many other Adriatic settlements, the area around Vodice are rich with drinking water so the place used to be very important at the age of Roman empire as the source of drinking water for the Roman
galleys.

When ACI marina was built the town became interesting to navigators who can get their
food, water and fuel supplies here. They can rent a tourist boat in marina and visit the nearby national parks like Kornati, Telašćica Bay or the Krka
Falls. There are two more national parks not far from Vodice, Paklenica and Plitvice.
Because of its beauty and its rich offer in tourism Vodice are called “Croatian St. Trope”.

On all the tourist charts Vodice take the best positions and the highest
ratings. The famous high quality wine marastina from Vodice is widely famous and
appreciated. The tourist center with a number of high category hotels can facilitate summer and winter
training. Due to the clean sea (about 5 nm from the island of Zlarin corals are taken
out) and pleasant climate Vodice and its surrounding can offer a number of beautiful
beaches. There are plenty of cultural events during summer time like art
exhibitions, concerts, folklore dancing and Dalmatian klapa singing and “The Vodice
Summer” reaches its highest point on the 4th of August with the event called “Vodice
night” takes place and stays in memories of people until they come
